WOZTELL Golden Partner : WhatsApp + zOHO

In SAGITAZ we are very used to talking about these things with customers who call us. While ZOHO can be understood as a cloud-based ERP, we should not try to compare it with the big ERPs of the market like in the case of NAVISION.

When someone tells me that they want to integrate with their ERP, the first thing I ask is what is an ERP for you?

The question is often makes me look silly, however, experience has taught me that it is better to look silly than to think that all people use the same vocabulary. If we also take into account that SAGITAZ is the largest Spanish-speaking implementer in the world, we understand what is understood by ERP in a micro-SME of Spain does not have to be the same as by a large car importer of Peru.

If we talk about NAVISION, then the topic becomes more serious. We are talking about companies that are accustomed to paying high prices for facilities, from ten thousand dollars to hundreds of thousands. They are companies that usually have a technical director or CTO, who will be a good interlocutor for our technicians and with which it is very simple to deal with: the written request is the one that commands.

If we are going to integrate your ZOHO CRM, or any other ZOHO, with your NAVISION, we will ask the following questions that I list below:

  •  Sense of synchronization: unidirectional or bidirectional.
It is very common for the company to want the commercial team to have information stored in NAVISION about sales, risk limit, account status, etc. If we only want this, we are talking about a unidirectional synchronization. If we want ZOHO also to send data to NAVISION, we will be for example talking about the cases where a commercial brings data about changes in the customer, or requests that his back office team take action on their customers and his team uses NAVISION and not ZOHO CRM. In these cases, it will be NAVISION that feeds from ZOHO.
  • Method of communication:
At SAGITAZ we like to do simple things and we do not like to get into anyone’s ERP. There’s the business, the money, and the financial people and the systems people gets restless. This is why an option is to propose a programmed export from NAVISION to a site agreed upon the result of the desired queries, while a second option is that depending on the version of NAVISION, it has a web service based on SOAP or OData that allow a REST connection. This is common in newer versions of Navision.
  • Structure of the data:
Do we bring data in a flat table or to interpret the data we have to work with a data structure interrelated with each other?
  • Interpretation of data:
How and where will these data be used? Our work will be different if the data will be used to be visualized at the push of a button within the CRM, that if we do, for example, automated marketing actions (mails, SMS, whatsapps, recorded audio messages, etc.) based on value of the data.
  • How often should we synchronize each type of data:
It is advisable to synchronize each type of data more or less times based on how it will be used. A data that is only used to feed a graph with many data drawn can be synchronized perhaps once a day, although in case of being a risk limit data reached by a client, we may want that data to fly quickly to the corresponding tab of our CRM, and even send an SMS or include an event in the calendar of our responsible seller.
  • Size of each data type:
For us as experts in ZOHO, it is important to establish a correct strategy of reading data from NAVISION, repackaged and inserted into ZOHO, since ZOHO has its own limits on the amount of interactions we can do, for example in a day. If this does not exist, someone might want to use a CRM to inject millions of data per second, and collapse the servers.
  • Provider of NAVISION:
This project will require us to work side-by-side with your NAVISION provider. They are the experts in the internal management of your business and we in the commercial vision, marketing, HR, etc. We must coordinate the details, agree the technical requirements, etc. This is why if we are going to talk to you about how to integrate your NAVISION with your ZOHO, if your NAVISION provider can be in the call from the beginning, you can have a complete view of how everything will be.

If you are integrating ZOHO and NAVISION, our recommendation is that you call us. We will do it as we always work, only using ZOHO 100% secure servers and with the guarantee of working with a company … that knows how to do it.

Do you need an integration with NAVISION?
